Victoria, David Beckham Selling France Home NOT Sign Of Divorce, Despite Report
Victoria and David Beckham are not getting divorced, just because they are selling one of their many homes. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this off-base rumor. We’re told their desire to unload a house in France has nothing to do with their marital state.
RadarOnline blares the headline, “David & Victoria List $3 Million French Estate Amid Divorce Rumors.” They even include photos of the two looking miserable superimposed over a palatial property. Then, after noting that the Beckhams have listed their six-bedroom, southern France home for $3 million, the webloid quotes a source saying they were “hardly ever” at the home in Bargemon. The source, who seems to use cliches as examples, adds, “You wouldn’t have seen Victoria queuing for a croissant in the village boulangerie.”
The outlet contends, however, the Beckhams are “moving for a different reason.” The site alleges they may be divorcing. It then offers as proof previously discredited stories about David Beckham “flirting with two different brunettes while at a SoulCycle class in Los Angeles.” And the webloid throws in how the “the Beckhams also severed their business ties to each other.”
For starters, Gossip Cop already debunked the false claim by RadarOnline in May that David Beckham was flirting with a woman at SoulCycle. And we similarly noted the site was dead wrong when it previously alleged that the soccer star and his wife had “severed their business ties to each other.” As Gossip Cop exclusively reported a few months ago, while the outlet previously claimed Victoria and David Beckham were in the midst of a “down-low divorce,” in actuality, they simply reorganized their company for accounting purposes, and instead united their two brands under an umbrella corporation of which they are both co-owners.
Notwithstanding the facts, which we already knew, Gossip Cop looked into the claim that they’re unloading their France home as part of some divorce proceeding, and a rep exclusively tells us the splitting up rumors are meritless. Of course, we’re not the least bit surprised. Gossip Cop was the first to bust the webloid’s sister publication OK! last month when it ran a cover story that wrongly declared the Beckhams were in the midst of a “$1 billion divorce.”
