Victoria Beckham “Hotel Guest From Hell” Claim Is “Nonsense,” Says Rep
Is Victoria Beckham the “hotel guest from hell”? That’s what the New York Post is alleging, bizarrely claiming the singer-turned-designer is the “worst hotel guest ever” based on a single incident that supposedly happened “a couple of years ago.” A rep for Beckham, however, tells Gossip Cop the claim is “nonsense.”
According to the Post, Beckham once made outrageous demands when she stayed at the Meadowood Napa Valley resort, requiring that “every time she leaves her hotel room, maids change the sheets, replace all the towels and completely clean the place — multiple times a day.” The paper claims that when that didn’t happen, Beckham “called the manager and complained so vociferously, he comped her family’s entire three-day stay. The staff is still talking about it.”
And yet this alleged diva story is only coming out now, years after Beckham’s supposedly horrific behavior? Right. A rep for Beckham tells Gossip Cop that the story is untrue. The spokesperson even adds, “No idea where this nonsense has come from.”
Beckham, of course, has been the subject of a number of wrong rumors over the years, including some strange ones. HollywoodLife wrongly claimed she named daughter Harper after a “Wizards of Waverly Place” character,” and Us Weekly once falsely alleged that the Spice Girl only eats lettuce. Congratulations to the New York Post for now getting to join those ranks.
