Victoria Beckham $1.6 million shopping spree goes bust

According to numerous reports, Victoria Beckham went on a wild shopping spree in Milan over the holidays.
ContactMusic, for example, claimed she “came close to spending a whopping $1.6 million (£1 million) on designer goods.”
Among the gifts she reportedly lavished upon herself and husband David Beckham “were a $640,000 (£400,000) Rolex watch for the soccer ace and four sofas for their home worth $64,000 (£40,000).”
That article and others even quote her saying, “I did spend too much. Shopping is like a drug. The more you have the more you want.” She allegedly added that when she’s on Milan’s famed shopping street Via Montenapoleone, “It’s as if all of those wonderful shops are calling out to me, saying, ‘Come and buy me! Come and buy me!’”

Victoria Beckham has NOT been back to Milan in SEVEN MONTHS, so the supposed shopping spree NEVER happened.
Also, she NEVER gave an interview in which she said those things.
