Victor Garber Confirms: I’m Gay

Victor Garber has quietly confirmed that he’s gay.

The veteran actor, known for roles in “Alias,” Titanic and Legally Blonde, had not been secretive about his sexuality, but directly addressed it to an interviewer for the first time at the Television Critics Association tour last week.

Asked about an online biography that listed artist and model Rainer Andreesen as his long-time partner, Garber told the site Greg in Hollywood, “I don’t really talk about it but everybody knows.”

He added that Andreesen would be with him at the Screen Actors Guild Awards later this month.

Garber’s film Argo won big at Sunday’s Golden Globes, where Jodie Foster spoke passionately about her sexuality and privacy in a show-stopping acceptance speech.

    I never knew that but I have seen him in titanic and a few other movies and I think he is still a good actor and his private life or sexuality is nobody’s business but his and his family,friends.And I have no problem in seeing him in future movies and if that is who he is then good for him,as long as he is happy in life that is all that matters and who cares what anyone else thinks just be your self and be proud.

    Oh, please. Working on the Sabbath is wrong too, according to the bible(s). Problem is, which Sabbath (Which bible)? Sunday, or Saturday? Or is it sundown on Friday? Can you eat pork and still go to heaven? When is it safe to beat my children if they disobey me?

    Kind of an interesting problem with so-called sacred texts: They were written by fallible men, most of whom had an agenda, were subsequently edited, re-edited and translated several times over, and finally…are subject to interpretation and opinion. And we all know that saying about opinions.
