‘Dancing With The Stars’ Elimination, Second Contestant Voted Off ‘DWTS’ (Video)
Victor Espinoza and Karina Smirnoff were the second pair eliminated on Tuesday’s “Dancing With The Stars” after receiving among the lowest number of votes following Monday night’s episode. See the video below of their elimination.
The Triple Crown-winning jockey was in the bottom two by the judges’ scores along with Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya. Espinoza scored just 17 out of 30 points in his Monday, September 21 routine while Busey scored 18 out of 30. In the end, though, Espinoza was the second contest eliminated.
Espinoza’s elimination came just as he was beginning to hit a stride in the competition. Just moments earlier he performed a rumba that delighted the judges. “Victor, you looked like you were 10 feet tall,” Julianne Hough told him, adding, “The way you handled Karina was beautiful. Best dance you have done.”
As Gossip Cop reported, Chaka Khan and Teo Motsepe were the first pair to be voted off on Monday’s show. Celebrities still in the competition include animal activist Bindi Irwin, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and butter-loving chef Paula Deen. A third couple will be eliminated next week.
What do you think about Victor and Karina being the second couple eliminated on “Dancing With the Stars?”
