Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo Expecting Baby!

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are expecting their first child together!

The former boy bander announced the news while guest-hosting “Live with Kelly” on Monday.

Lachey says Minnillo started to feel ill during a trip to New York in early January, recalling, “She went to the store, got a pregnancy test and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!”

He gushed, ”I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”

The baby is due in late summer/early fall.

Lachey and Minnillo wed at Richard Branson’s private Necker Island on July 15. The nuptials were televised as “Nick & Vanessa’s Dream Wedding” on TLC.

    Oh brother can we just let these people live there lives. They have moved on & both have asked that others do too. Let them make there babies & have healthy & happy ones & the last time I checked being married does not mean its the best relationship. Some of the best relationships out there & long ones do not require marriage.. Given all the divorces & splits this last year Id stick with non marrying but in a stable loving relationship works for me. Seems the minute you marry things sometimes change. Lets quit the judging. The only one to judge is the man in the heavans & I doubt he will be saying nay when the time comes for them to meet him based on a child. Im not veen sure anyone can show me in the bible where Mary & Joseph had that piece of paper or tablet that said married. Give it up. let these couples live. The relationship didn’t work for them & there with other people having babies.. Good on them. healthy & happy babies works for me & very much loved something we should all be thinking about.

    Stop comparing. They both are happy. Get over it. They are. Don’t be a jerk. Each person’s life is different. If Jess had gotten pregnant last, then she would get the blame for trying to follow Nick and Vanessa. Jess doesn’t even call Vanessa’s name, but Vanessa and Nick’s silly fans do and so does Vanessa. Jess gets the blame for everything. They divorced and everything is just fine. Nick loves Vanessa and it turned out just fine. Get over it HATER. Don’t be a bit++.
