Vanessa Hudgens is suing MoeJackson.com for posting nude, “self portrait photographs” of the “High School Musical” actress.

The pictures, taken in a private home with a cell phone, “were obtained by unknown methods and posted on the internet by an unknown person without Hudgens’ knowledge or consent,” according to the lawsuit. TMZ was first to report the legal action.

Hudgens registered the nude photos, which created quite a stir, with the U.S. Copyright Office, but Butter Media (owners of MoeJackson.com), refused to take them down.

Hudgens’ federal lawsuit asks the judge for an injunction, requiring the site to remove the photos. She also asks for damages.
