David Lee Roth Injures Nose During Van Halen Performance On Jimmy Kimmel Live (VIDEO)
Van Halen performed on Monday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” shutting down Hollywood Boulevard for renditions of classics like “Panama” and “Runnin’ With The Devil,” although things did not go smoothly. Watch the videos below.
Lead singer David Lee Roth accidentally “f*cked his nose up” on the microphone early in the set, and he had to run offstage to get bandaged as the crowd wondered what was happening. He returned, made a joke about his appearance, and then launched into “Panama” again.
While the band seemed happy to be playing together despite an often tumultuous history, critics came out in full force on Twitter and other social media, blasting Roth’s voice and slamming the band for not sounding good. Gossip Cop didn’t think it was so bad. Watch the performance below, and tell us what you think.
Before Van Halen took the stage, Kimmel joked about their age and sent his sidekick Guillermo into the crowd to interview fans. It was very entertaining, as was the segment when Kimmel sent out his camera crew to find people on the street with Van Halen tattoos. Check out all the Van Halen-ness in the videos below!
