Vampire Diaries Star Nina Dobrev Turned Down Ian Somerhalder Marriage Proposal?

In Touch reports “exclusively” that “Vampire Diaries” star Nina Dobrev turned down Ian Somerhalder’s marriage proposal.

According to the tabloid, Somerhalder popped the question to his girlfriend and co-star over the holidays.

The mag quotes a so-called “insider” relating, “She is freaking out, saying, ‘I don’t want to marry him!’”

The unnamed “friend” adds, “She thinks she’s too young, and with all the offers she’s getting, she’s poised to be a big star.”

Now, notes In Touch, Dobrev feels her ”relationship is ruined.”

“They were having fun,” says the tab’s source, “and now there’s a lot of tension.”

Unfortunately for In Touch, its story — like a vampire — sucks.

A rep for Dobrev tells Gossip Cop the report is “wrong,” and “there was no proposal.”

    Wow In Touch, way to make Nina Dobrev sound like a typical Diva and ONLY career driven. Sad. I’m sure she’s mature enough to have both one day. In Hollywood, you might be popular one day then cut down to size and forgotten the next…..but always family and a solid relationship are important.

    I think that she made a mistake, if she really loves him she would of said YES, it is stupid to think that marriage would ruin her carrer.Family and relationships first, then carrer I dont think that this is true.

    Give me a break. Nian is so deeply misunderstood.

    Ian cheated on Meghan Auld for several months with Nina Dobrev in 2010. A lot of insiders and friends know this. Ian and Nina did a good job in covering this up despite the frequent sightings and photos of them way before he announced his split with Meghan. He is well-known to trade up with co-stars and screw around. Almost every time, he has a girlfriend going into a tv or film shoot, then he cheats/then dumps them for the co-star. He is lucky he used to be C-list, otherwise he would have been exposed as a lothario.

    Nina is smart not to get be too invested in this and they will probably split after TVD is over. He didn’t propose to her but marriage discussion has been brought up, though there is no way that is going to happen ever. I think Nina is growing out of this fantasy and will discover Ian’s true colors. She is only 23 years old. Ian is a lech.

    I would not trust Nian’s reps. They lied for years to the media, by claiming they were not together when they were having an affair. Then after Coachella, they lied to more media outlets, especially E by acting like it was recent when it had been going on for nearly two years at that point. Nina went as far as to say that she wasn’t dating Ian last year when she clearly was and even lied to say she would never date co-stars when she also dated Daniel Clark from Degrassi. I know Ian is a charmer so I can see why she fell for Ian but the guy has never been faithful. They are making it work for their show.

    He cant act, every part he plays is the same…his track record sucks..and if Nina is so genuine why cheat on Meghan? Its not mature behaviour…hope they get std checks regularly….ugh…..

    as everbody else i saw from the beginning of TVD that they were too close and we all knew it’s to promote the show but it has gone too far since they announced that they’re dating in september of this year which was clearly for the show , ito be honest i don’t see that ther’s any coonection between them , come on they’re actors so everything is made up to impress the fans and to rise up the views of the show , don’t get me wrong i love the show and i am a huge fan of ian but i wish he had someone to with in a real relationship that would be great because in the end of the day it’s family that’s important no matter how great the career gets
