Us Weekly strikes out with item about Madonna spending weekend with Alex Rodriguez

Under the headline, “Madonna Visits A-Rod,” Us Weekly claims the singer and the bat swinger “spent the weekend of January 16 at his Westchester County, New York, home.”
The magazine further reports that Madonna and Alex Rodriguez “have kept in touch all along.”
While it’s true the two have remained good friends and in contact, Us Weekly is 100 percent wrong about the weekend stay.
Not only did Madonna’s rep deny it, but a source close to Rodriguez confirmed to Gossip Cop that the mag struck out.
