Wow……… Thanks GC What the hell is holding Scummit up with Breaking Dawn?
I actually think that it is Stephenie Meyer that is holding it up cause there would be no way to do Reneesma without it being a CGI baby and she doesn’t think that they currently look very good.
Come on! What is the problem with green lighting BD? This is ridiculous, Eclipse will not have any momenton with out a BD conformation!
My guess is the stars paychecks might be involved.
Consider that Rob said a few weeks ago that production on Breaking Dawn may start next fall, my guess is that the actors are already locked into doing it so I doubt it has anything to do with their paychecks. My guess it is more of a scheduling issue with everyone involved.
That should be considering.
I don’t think Stephenie Meyer has sold the rights to Breaking Dawn. From Stephenie’s website.
Is there going to be a Breaking Dawn movie? If you are not sure of that, then do you wish there is going to be one? – Jamie C.
At this point in time, we’re in talks. I would love to see BD made if it could be made well. It’s a little bit trickier than the others.
Considering that according to Nikke Finke, the rights to air Breaking Dawn were included in the Twilight Saga deal with FX, I think she has. Like I said, it is probably just about working out a schedule to film. It is not like these movies need a long turn around. My guess it will be filmed next fall so it can open in the summer of 2011. I just read on E!’s twitter that Eclipse is opening June 30th, 2010 so my guess is Breaking Dawn will open the same weekend in 2011.
Woow, 2,1 M in Norway??
Only 4,5 mill people live in Norway, well we sure like the Saga….
How can North American cumulative is now up to $164.8 million! when New Moon has only made $153.6 million to date ???????
with the other Figures u have posted up it dont add up.
Please tell me i am reading this wrong
$2.4M in Philippines
yey hahaha.. .
Has the screenplay been written for Breaking Dawn yet? If not, that could be the hold up here.
Yes. There not being a script yet could be a hold up as well.
i think it has something to do with money
they can only do BD when the main actors get enough money for it… or would you watch BD without Robsten and TL? No, i think they are now going to do a new contract for BD with a lot more money in it for them…
i miss the german speaking area here… (there’s only switzerland…)
I expected the numbers to be slowing down by now. I found it online here http://thetwilightsaga-gossipandnews.blogspot.com/2009/11/watch-twilight-saga-new-moon.html, and watched it there a few times, but I’d rather see it in the theater. I wanted to wait until the hoopla started to die down a little. There’s nothing I hate more than watching a movie in a crowded theater. Went to see it on opening day and the line up was ridiculous. I’m going to take my mother to see it tomorrow, but I think I’ll be sticking to the online version after that until the DVD comes out. I had to fill out some stupid little survey, but it’s worth it to avoid the crowds.
Hey, just a follow up comment on my last one. I posted the link because I know there are some people out there that don’t want to have to deal with going to a packed theater to watch New Moon. I still think everyone should go see it in the theater. It’s amazing on the big screen. But online is a good temporary solution!
