Tyga Reacts To Blac Chyna Engagement: “Happy To See Mother Of My Son Happy”
As Gossip Cop reported, Kardashian proposed to Chyna on Monday after just a few months of dating. She split from Tyga, with whom she has a 3-year-old son named King Cairo, in 2014. He started dating Kardashian’s half-sister, Kylie Jenner, not long afterward.
In the wake of the engagement news, many on social media have commented on the seemingly-odd connection between the two couples, with the little boy caught in the middle. Tyga took to Twitter on Tuesday night to hit back at those largely cruel remarks, but also shared his approval of Chyna’s plans to wed. The rapper began, “Everybody deserves 2 be happy. What some1 does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it’s not interfering wit my happiness [sic].”
“It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy. My only concern in this situation is my son. I want him in happy environments,” Tyga continued. “He’s innocent in this & I want him to feel as much love as possible. Only an evil heart would direct negativity at a child & make fun of him for being in a situation that is out of his control.”
The performer added, “When u been blessed how I’ve been, & create some1 u love unconditional, u’ll understand how I feel. Ull want to protect that blessing. Cherish yo own blessings and stop hating mine.” Chyna has not acknowledged the tweets.
Neither Jenner nor anyone in her family has publicly commented on the engagement, either. Tyga and Chyna are pictured above in early 2014.
