“Two and a Half Men” will end after its upcoming 12th season.

The news was announced on Wednesday as part of the CBS network upfront presentation.

“Two and a Half Men,” the longest-running live action comedy on network television, hit a series low in its just-concluded 11th season, having been moved to a later time slot.

Its two stars, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, are among the highest-paid actors on television.

“Half man” Angus T. Jones has not appeared on the show for a year; he was phased out after blasting the sitcom and asking people to stop watching.
