Twenty One Pilots ‘SNL’ Performance Of “Ride” – WATCH VIDEO
Twenty One Pilots sang “Ride” on this week’s “SNL.” The song is off their fourth album Blurryface. Twenty One Pilots first performed “Heathens” on “SNL.” See the video below of the band singing “Ride” on “Saturday Night Live.”
The video for “Ride” features the Twenty One Pilots duo of Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph performing the song alone with their instrument in a forest both during the day and also at night. Later, they’re seen performing the catchy song while in concert. The video, which was released in 2015, has been viewed more than 200 million times. The song “Ride” reached number one on both Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs and Mainstream Top 40 charts, number four on the Adult Top 40 chart, and number five on the Hot 100 chart.
As Gossip Cop previously noted, this marks Twenty One Pilots’s “Saturday Night Live” debut. A few days ago, they tweeted they were “incredibly honored” to be the show’s musical guests, and hours before performing, they simply wrote on Twitter, “it’s saturday night.” The band’s appearance comes on the heels of last week’s premiere during which The Weeknd sang “False Alarm” and “Starry.”
