TSoul “The Voice” Knockouts Video: Watch “These Arms Of Mine” Performance!
TSoul performed “These Arms Of Mine” for Tuesday’s “The Voice” Knockouts. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, TSoul’s Blind Audition had both Blake Shelton and Adam Levine fighting over him. The aspiring star chose to join Team Blake, and his coach in turn chose him as the winner of his Battles round pairing. Now for the next phase of the competition, TSoul was matched with Enid Ortiz.
As we noted at the time, Ortiz sang Adele’s “All I Ask” for her Blind Audition. She was relegated to a montage during the Battles, and now for the Knockouts, she selected another Adele song. And while she would be singing “When We Were Young,” TSoul opted to go old-school with some Otis Redding.
In rehearsals, TSoul and Ortiz revealed they’ve become “like brother and sister” over the course of the reality show. Shelton said he paired them because they both have big, soulful faces. Calling Ortiz one of his “best friends,” TSoul admitted, “The pressure has been intensified.” Meanwhile, Ortiz struggled with her confidence, and called it “intimidating” to go up against him.
Both delivered emotional performances, after which Alicia Keys said Ortiz “took this for me.” Gwen Stefani was torn, telling her boyfriend, “I don’t know, Blakey.” And Adam Levine gave his vote to TSoul. So the scoreboard was essentially even.
But Shelton declared TSoul as the winner, and the artist he’d be taking to the Live Playoffs. Check out the video below!
