Dean McDermott Forcing Tori Spelling To Keep Kids Off TV Show?
Dean McDermott is not forcing the cancelation of “True Tori” by barring his and Tori Spelling’s children from appearing on the reality show, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this In Touch rumor, which claims “the show may not go on,” despite being picked up for a third season.
According to a so-called “source” for the tabloid, “Dean signed a contract to appear on the upcoming season but is refusing to film and won’t allow the kids to film, either.” In Touch explains that McDermott knows Lifetime will “never air the series” if the couple’s children don’t appear on it. “This is frightening for Tori,” says the magazine’s insider. “Tori is freaking out.”
Uh-huh. In Touch has a problem. That problem is its sources, who seemingly have never met Spelling or McDermott, much less gained their confidence. This is the same publication that in the past year alone has said Spelling was going to rehab (wrong), insisted she was going to confront McDermott’s mistress Emily Goodhand on the show (false), reported that Spelling felt “stabbed in the back” by Jennie Garth (nope), and alleged that she was getting plastic surgery to “save her marriage” (wrong again).
The magazine’s losing streak continues here. A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop it’s “not true” that McDermott is keeping the kids off “True Tori,” or that the show is in danger of not continuing.
