Trisha Yearwood, Garth Brooks “GMA” Video: Watch “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” Performance!
Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks took their “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” duet to “GMA” on Friday for a special pre-Christmas performance. Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Yearwood and Brooks performed “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” for last month’s “Christmas In Rockefeller Center.” That star-studded event featured a number of top artists doing performances for NBC’s annual tree-lighting special. Now, however, the couple graced the ABC airwaves with the classic holiday love song.
Yearwood and Brooks’ performance came just two days before Christmas, also known as Christmas Eve Eve. But the country duo actually started celebrating the festive season some time ago. Earlier this year, they recorded a holiday record, marking their first-ever joint album. Appropriately called Christmas Together, it was released in November.
Naturally, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” is among the tracks, along with covers of “Santa Baby” and “Feliz Navidad.” Brooks co-wrote the song “Ugly Christmas Sweater,” and he and Yearwood also penned “What I’m Thankful for (The Thanksgiving Song).” That new one also features James Taylor.
While Christmas Together peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200, it went all the way to number one on the Top Country Albums chart. It also placed second on the Top Holiday Albums list. Perhaps the success means fans can look forward to more holiday-inspired music in the future. Check out Yearwood and Brooks performing on “GMA” below!
