Trevor Noah NOT Dead, Despite Death Hoax
Trevor Noah is NOT dead, despite a fake news story. The untrue article is yet another awful death hoax.
“Breaking News: South African Comedian Trevor Noah Dies At 33,” reads the completely false headline on news.states-tv.com. The accompanying article wrongly states, “South African impressionist and most influential comic and actor, Trevor Noah has died after being injured in a car accident, [a] reliable source discloses.”
The fake story goes on, “His vehicle hit a patch of water outside Potchefstroom and the car aquaplaned and hit a light standard. Noah sustained internal injuries and died at the spot.” The piece goes on to detail Noah’s career, and says, “The comedian’s passing has left a massive hole in the industry… He will be sorely missed by his peers and the public and our sincerest condolences go out to his family.”
But it’s all a sick, twisted lie. Noah, thankfully, is alive and well. Unfortunately, though, this hoax has spread on social media, with one Twitter user, @Doc_ster, even tweeting to the star on Monday, “@Trevornoah is you dead?”
NO, he is NOT. Noah is just the latest victim of a celebrity death hoax. And this disturbing site has also published hoaxes about pregnant Beyonce suffering a miscarriage and Charlize Theron dying. It’s disgusting.
