Trent Harmon “Kelly And Michael” Video: Watch “Falling” Performance!
“American Idol” winner Trent Harmon sang his winning single “Falling” on Monday’s “Live With Kelly and Michael.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop reported, Harmon was crowned the last-ever winner of “American Idol” on last week’s series finale. He’s now making the media rounds to talk about his victory and promote “Falling,” which he debuted on the show. As we previously noted, the track was co-written by “Idol” judge Keith Urban.
Following the new live performance, Kelly Ripa said, “You know what that was? That was ridiculously good!” She went on to tell Harmon, “You have an incredible voice, holy cow!” Michael Strahan cracked about the singer’s falsetto, “I would hit that note, but I don’t want to hurt myself.”
Ripa further told Harmon he’s “even more incredible in person,” and pointed out, “It’s such an amazing thing to be — you are the final winner of this incredible show that’s brought us so many artists.” The humble Mississippi native simply said ‘thank you’ as the crowd cheered.
Explaining his roots, Harmon shared how he spent his pre-“Idol” time working on his family’s farm and in his parents’ restaurant. But after returning from a mission in Belize, he went to the show’s open-call auditions on a whim. Incredibly, he didn’t even tell anyone until he was “deep into Hollywood Week.” Runner-up La’Porsha Renae will share her own “Idol” story on Tuesday’s “Kelly and Michael.” Check out Harmon’s full video below!
