Tracy Morgan Transferred to Rehab Center, Showing “Signs of Improvement”
His publicist Lewis Kay said in a statement that Morgan will remain in the undisclosed rehab center “for the next few weeks.”
Kay added, “While he is continuing to show signs of improvement, he still has a long way to go. He and Megan [Wollover] wanted to publicly express their deepest gratitude to everyone at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for the unbelievable care and attention they provided him.”
As Gossip Cop reported, the “30 Rock” star was aboard a limousine bus when it became involved in a six-vehicle crash on the New Jersey turnpike earlier this month.
James McNair, another comedian who wrote for Morgan and was known as “Uncle Jimmy Mack,” died in the wreck.
Truck driver Kevin Roper, who was charged in the multi-vehicle crash, had been awake for more than 24 hours leading up to the accident according to authorities.
