Tracee Ellis Ross “Pregnant In Real Life” Report Not True
Trace Ellis Ross is NOT “pregnant in real life,” despite a report from an outlet with a fertile imagine. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story.
MediaTakeOut announces, “CONGRATULATIONS: Actress Tracee Ellis Ross… Is PREGNANT IN REAL LIFE… And We Got BABY BUMP PICS!! (Her Character On ‘BLACK-ISH’ Is Preggers TOO)” The accompanying story states, “To all the fans of the popular comedy series ‘BLACK-ISH’… we have news for you. MediaTakeOut.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that the star of the show actress Tracee Ellis Ross is pregnant. It’s not yet clear WHO the father of her baby is.”
“We’re told that Tracee informed the shows producers about her decision to get pregnant, and they wrote it into the show’s script,” the site goes on to claim. “On last night’s ‘Black-ish,’ Rainbow Johnson (Tracee’s character) revealed that she’s pregnant. Expect an official announcement from Tracee very soon — as early as this weekend.”
While that might be a nice turn of events, Ross is NOT actually expecting a baby. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the show, and we’re exclusively told, “This is not true. Tracee is not pregnant. Her character Bow is, and we are excited about that.”
Of course, MediaTakeOut has a long history of falsely impregnating stars, from Rihanna and Nicki Minaj to Gabrielle Union and Khloe Kardashian. Oh, and for the record, Ross does NOT have a “baby bump.” Just check out the picture above, which is from less than two weeks ago.
