It was a big weekend for toys and overgrown boys.
Toy Story 3 , once again, wins the weekend box office, earning an estimated $59 million to take the top spot.
Meanwhile, despite less than stellar reviews, Adam Sandler had yet another big summer opening with Grown Ups. Co-starring Kevin James and Chris Rock, the film earned $41 million to capture the #2 spot in its first weekend.
The heavily marketed Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz action-romance Knight and Day debuted in third place at $20.5. And holdovers The Karate Kid and The A-Team rounded out the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Box office stinker Jonah Hex nearly tumbled out of the Top 10 altogether with a paltry weekend take of just $1.5 million.
