Tori Spelling Explains Why She’s Doing Reality Show, Thanks Fans For Support
Tori Spelling is thanking fans for their support in advance of the premiere of her new reality series, “True Tori.” In a blog entry posted on Monday, the actress opens up about why she decided to let the cameras in as she and husband Dean McDermott try to work through his infidelity.
“Our family has been going through an incredibly difficult and trying time, and the story of what I’ve been going through has been told by everyone… except for me. So, it’s time for me to set the record straight,” writes Spelling.
She goes on, “Throughout my life, the tabloids have told every story you could imagine – and they always got it wrong. I needed the chance to tell my own story.”
“At the moment, I don’t know if it will have a happy ending,” acknowledges the star. “But I need to get my voice back, and this is my way of doing that.”
Spelling adds, “I also wanted to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for your unconditional love, positivity and support over the last several months. I’m forever thankful for the support of my incredible fans and friends.” What do you think of Spelling’s post?
