Tori Spelling Hospitalized After Emergency Surgery for Complications from C-Section

Tori Spelling had emergency surgery over the weekend due to complications from the C-section delivery of her son and she remains hospitalized, Gossip Cop has confirmed.

Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed a baby boy named Finn, their fourth child, at the end of August.

She subsequently shared a photo of the new arrival on Twitter, writing, “So in love…”

But on Saturday, Spelling was rushed to the hospital to treat complications from her C-section, and she’s still receiving medical care.

A rep tells Gossip Cop the actress-author is “resting comfortably.”

    My prayers are with Dean and Tori. And their family. It is so hard on a woman’s body to go through another pregnancy so close together. Plus she has stated childbirth/delivery is normally hard on her. She didn’t have time to allow her body to rest and repair itself after Hattie’s birth. She is a wonderful, beautiful lady and a terrific mother.     I hope the paparazzi and tabloids leave her alone. They have done enough in the past. I hope she gets better and soon.

    I wonder how many of these celebrities have natural childbirth any more? it seems that many of them have C-sections because they don’t have to go through labor and it’s easier to get their figures back. There are complications which can arise, though, the more C-sections you have.
