Tori Spelling Responds to Comments Dean McDermott Affair Is “Karma” — WATCH!
As Gossip Cop reported, Tuesday’s finale showcased McDermott returning to Toronto — the site of his two-day affair — to work on “Chopped Canada,” leaving behind a still-struggling Spelling and their four children.
In an “Entertainment Tonight” sneak peek with Brooke Anderson, the interviewer asks Spelling for a response to those believing McDermott’s cheating was “karma,” and that she’s “getting a taste of your own medicine” since their marriage is the product of an affair.
Spelling was wed to Charlie Shanian while McDermott had a son with wife Mary Jo Eustace when they began a sexual relationship almost immediately upon meeting for a TV movie.
“Obviously, what happened was hurtful to other people,” replies the actress. “But you can’t help when you fall in love with someone.”
