Emma Watson and Rupert Grint Top “Hollywood’s Top-Earning Screen Couples”

It’s time for another (faintly ridiculous) celebrity money list!

Forbes has calculated their rundown of “Hollywood’s Top-Earning Screen Couples,” with Harry Potter “couple” Rupert Grint and Emma Watson leading the pack.

The list tallies box office receipts over the past five years, and the actors who played Ron and Hermione in the Potter franchise saw their four films in that period earn a staggering $4.2 billion.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are #2 with the Twilight Saga romance raking in $2.5 billion over the same period.

While they only made two Transformers films together, on-screen love interests Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox managed to land in third place with $1.5 billion.

What makes the roundup so… random… is that while romantic pairings like Stewart-Pattinson and Sex and the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth are at the heart of those films, we have a hard time believing that many people saw blockbusters like Iron Man or Inception solely because of the “love interests.”

8. Kirsten Dunst and Tobey Maguire – $890 million

9. Marion Cotillard and Leonardo DiCaprio – $825 million

10. Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth – $703 million

    This is crap! The earlier films of Harry Pot Head shouldn’t be counted because there was not a relationship between those two to begin with. Edward and Bella will always be the top earning couple!!!

    Personally, of these film that I saw, I think I only went to one of them to see the on screen “couple”. I went to see Transformers for the robots, Pirates for Johnny Depp, Iron Man for Robert Downey (I actually was hoping Pepper Potts would fall off a building and he would hook up with Black Widow), and Sex and the City was for the clothes and only the clothes.
    And how did Titanic not make this list? Or Avatar (another movie I didn’t see for the couple, but if Transformers made the list so should Avatar). I’m pretty sure they count as top wage earners.

    Re-read the top it says the last four movies of hp, not the entire series. If they did the whole series it would be a lot higher. And like someone has already said, you clearly did not even read nor watch any of the the hp movies, because they still could have used the whole series because they have always liked eachother.

Emma and rupees made more money than Kirsten and Robert cause twilight started at the start for this count but hp started later on and seriously were did u get that stuff about Emma being pregnant with crows cause I know I’m not that smart(due who needs to be) but I dont think that’s possible cause like u said crows have eggs humans are well different.
