Tony Awards Red Carpet Live Stream

The Tony Awards “Live! From The Red Carpet” will be broadcast online before Sunday’s Tonys. Gossip Cop has a live stream below!

This marks the first time in Tony history that there will be a live-streamed, red carpet special before the awards ceremony. Darren Criss, who is best known for “Glee” but currently starring on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, will host the special event. He’ll be joined by Sierra Boggess of It Shoulda Been You, and Laura Osnes, a two-time Tony Award nominee.

Additionally, George Takei is serving as the official fan correspondent, while Randi Zuckerberg is the tech/social correspondent. Blake Ross will be the theatre correspondent, and Emilio Sosa is the fashion correspondent.

For the two-hour and 30-minute online-only program, organizers promise “viewers will feel like they are right in the action, enjoying interviews with the 2015 Tony Nominees from the red carpet as they arrive for Broadway’s biggest night.” And fans who are actually spending the night on the Great White Way will be able to watch a simulcast right in Times Square.

It all leads up to the star-studded Tony Awards ceremony, which will be hosted this year by Alan Cumming and Kristin Chenoweth. Gossip Cop will have coverage all night, beginning with the red carpet pre-show at 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Stay tuned for the live stream!
