Looks like motorists will have some new company on the road.

Moments ago, Tom Hanks tweeted the news that he’s earned a scooter license from the DMV for his upcoming role in Larry Crowne, the movie reuniting Hanks with Julia Roberts, and marking the actor’s first directorial job since That Thing You Do!

Hanks, of course, has handled some more advanced machinery in the past, but Gossip Cop still congratulates him on the achievement.
