TAB: Tom Cruise and Son Connor Have “Strange and Cold” Relationship

Tom Cruise‘s adopted son Connor is “desperate for his dad’s love,” reports In Touch, which characterizes the father and son’s relationship as “strange and cold.”

A supposed “source” for the tabloid claims, “Tom is a very difficult man to get to know…. It’s almost like he treats Connor like a business associate rather than a son.

The alleged source adds that the 16-year-old is also extremely jealous of his five-year-old sister, Suri.

While Suri is lavished with “attention, fancy family trips and essentially whatever her heart desires materially,” Connor is left out in the cold by his dad and stepmom, Katie Holmes, says In Touch.

Connor’s supposedly bitter because he thinks his half-sister “gets a lot more of Tom’s time and attention” than he got as a child.

The “source” says, “He’s been in therapy on and off” to help him “deal with his family drama, but he still gets very emotional.”

OK, here’s what’s true about this story: Connor Cruise is adopted.

Here’s what’s not: Everything else.

A source close to Cruise call the story “disgusting” and “wrong,” and tells Gossip Cop, “They are super-close and Connor is on set with him all the time when he can be, and is going on the Mission [Impossible] tour.”

The only “drama” here is what’s being manufactured by In Touch.

    I believe it totally and it’s not the first time Ive heard it. You can tell Suri has been pampered since birth and gets EVERYTHING she wants. Im sure both he and his sister feel the same way.

    How can anyone say Tom and Connor are not close? They have the same mannerism. Plus, Connor always visit Tom on movie sets.

    Being adopted doesn’t negate familial relationships. Just because they’re not “blood” related doesn’t make them less siblings than those that are. They share a father. That makes them half-siblings.

    All you haters want to jump on how spoiled Suri is in relation to Connor but here’s the thing: 1-there are 10yrs between Connor and Suri, of course she’s going to get more time and attention-BUT that doesn’t mean she gets more love. 2-there are dozens of photos on the net from this year alone of Tom and Connor w/o Katie or Suri. 3-Tom has three kids, it says a lot about the veracity of this article that Bella isn’t even mentioned.
