Is Tom Cruise getting close with a former co-star’s sister?

According to The Sun, the actor is “dating” Jennifer Akerman, sibling of Rock of Ages actress Malin.

“It was scripted for Tom and Malin to get it on on-screen but Tom and Jennifer hit it off naturally at the Stockholm premiere of his latest film Jack Reacher last week,” explains the newspaper.

Indeed, the duo were photographed talking at the film premiere’s after-party.

And that’s it.

They stood next to each other at an event, chatting and laughing.

Then Cruise and Akerman parted ways, as he flew to New York and she headed to London.

Apparently, that’s “dating” in The Sun’s eyes.

Back in reality, there’s no truth to the sensationalized report.

A rep for Cruise tells Gossip Cop the story is “lies.”
