Tom Cruise “Deeply Saddened” About Katie Holmes Divorce

Tom Cruise is “deeply saddened” that Katie Holmes has filed for divorce.

The Rock of Ages star’s rep has released a statement to Gossip Cop about Friday’s news that Cruise and Holmes are splitting.

His rep tells us, “Kate has filed for divorce and Tom is deeply saddened and is concentrating on his three children. Please allow them their privacy.”

Cruise and Holmes, of course, have six-year-old daughter Suri together.

The actor also has two children with previous wife Nicole Kidman.

    Not at all surprising! He makes them file for divorce so he doesn’t like the bad one. Its all in their contracts anyway. I’m surprised Nicole made it to the 10 yr mark. But she must have wanted the extra cash. I guess Katie thought 5 yrs was long enough with that freak!

    They are adopted, so not biologically HIS. Suri is more then likely not his either. Why else would Katie Holmes be seeking sole custody of a child who has an apparent loving Father

    For years she looked like he had sucked the life out of her. Let’s be honest, many celebrity marriages are not based on love. They’re based on other reasons not having to do with with. Celeb marriages are often based on business reasons, career reasons, reputation reasons, etc. That’s why so many fail, and why so many in Hollywood cheat.

    I never believed this marriage was based on love. She never looked happy from day one.
