Tom Brady did NOT refuse to support wife Gisele Bundchen at the 2016 Rio Olympics, despite a phony webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”

As Gossip Cop reported, Bundchen walked the runway during the Olympics opening ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Friday. Brady wasn’t able to accompany his wife to the big event because the NFL quarterback had to attend Patriots training camp in Massachusetts. But that explanation isn’t good enough for Celeb Dirty Laundry, which asks, “Is a divorce going to happen before the end of the year?”

The webloid says Brady’s very valid reason for not being able to travel to Brazil is a “poor excuse” before wrongly asserting, “Brady isn’t even allowed to train with his Patriots teammates as part of his four-game suspension over last year’s deflate gate.” However, the site has pulled this supposed tidbit out of thin air. Despite Brady’s suspension, the quarterback is not restricted from participating in either training camp or the preseason games.

The site’s purely speculative article further contends Brady “can’t even muster the strength to be by her side for the sake of their public image,” adding, “a quick trip to Brazil would have been effortless.” But despite the outlet failing to do any fact checking, the NFL player was training alongside his teammates at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts at the same time as the Olympics opening ceremony.

Regardless, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the couple to get to the bottom of the webloid’s divorce allegations, and we’re exclusively told there are no issues in their marriage. We’re further assured the outlet’s entire story is completely “false.”
