Busting bad dish!

“Toddlers & Tiaras” Sinks to New Low with 3-Year-Old Dressed as Hooker

VIDEO

(TLC)

Having already given the world a pint-sized Dolly Parton, complete with boob and butt padding, “Toddlers & Tiaras” now takes the next logical step.

Meet Paisley, the three-year-old girl dressed… as Julia Roberts‘ prostitute character from Pretty Woman.

Even some of the other T&T parents are mortified.

“I would never, ever do that to my little girl,” declares one rival mother, adding, “Us pageant moms already take a huge rap for what we’re doing to our little girls, and it’s outfits like that that give us a bad rap.”

What do you think?

I think that 3 year olds should be 3 year olds and not put under the pressure of any kind of pagent or competition. This is a pediphiles’ dream……seeing these children like that….protect them and keep them off and out of the lime light!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t understand this. There was a huge public disscution about that girl in Vogue. This is worse.. far worse! They’re 3 year olds. I really don’t watch this so I don’t know what other little girls wear. But it’s one thing to play dress up as Cinderella or Snow White. For a little girl it can be fun. But pretty woman? What could her mother tell her to convince her to wear that? I’m just shocked and extremely disturbed by this. People are getting more and more crazy, in a very very bad way.

Child abuse. Why is this show still on televison and why do people watch it? I have never seen it and never will.

they should cancel this sick show

These poor girls have no childhood. None. Those mothers should be ashamed.

These pageants are disgusting, these babies need to be playing outside and having a childhood, this show is disgusting and its no wonder young girls grow up with this sick obsession of being perfect and obsessive about their looks/etc. I don’t care what anyone says I don’t see one positive thing about these pageants at such a young age, especially when its clear they don’t really get to have a say in what they want to do. Most of them do it to please their parents, this makes me so sad. The world is turning into a shit hole.

I think children’s services should be called on this disgusting show. I’m currently in Australia so I’ve not seen the show, but people here see news stories on it…The Aussies think that the Americans are so sick to put their children on display like that. It’s not “some” crazy parents, they think that this is the norm for little girls in the US. So not only do people need to be concerned about how shows and beauty pagents like these affect children, but they should also look at the image that this portrays to the rest of the world. Quite honestly, shows like these are child abuse and even the producers should be held accountable.

    Isa,
What’s really sad is that the little girl has no choice! She’s going to look back at this years from now and be completely mortified…” that is, unless she grows up thinking this is acceptable, which she might very well do!
Unless people take a stand & say, “ENOUGH!” this won’t stop. Frankly, the very fact that the show is on TV in the first place really bothers me.

What more can they do to encourage pedophiles to think their preferences are acceptable? I think that line has been reached, and stepped over in this case! 

It’s not only about the show on tv, it’s these peagents, these horrible competitions. Wtf are little 3year olds competing. I bet their mothers tell them to be better than another girl, smile more, i can just imagine and these poor babies have to do it like robots, because every littile child thinks that mother knows best.. These girls grow up with such a wrong perception of what childhood is, not to mention values, morals. Maybe the parents think that they’re too young to be affected by this, but it’s wrong. At this young stage the brain is like spounge, it absorbs anything and everything. What do they learn? To stand still while mothers/fathers ruin their hair, their face, no games outside in the park, that if they smile more, walk more beautiful or i donno what the criterias are on those f.. peagents, they’ll win, they will be cheered, and so on.
i could write pages. Someone, an authority, I donno..someone with power has to stop those peagents, or at least provide really harsh rules against these types of behaviour

I sew, and alot of moms have asked me to make pageant clothes. I have a reall problem with that.. I have sewed things for exotc dancers that have not been as scandalous as some pageant clothes (cheerleading too) . Kids grow up too fast already and this is just plain wrong.
This mother will wonder why her little girl winds up pregnant at 13 or so.. This is child endangerment of the worst kind…the kind that is condoned by the parents.
The mother should be ashamed…I know your daughter will be as soon as she is old enough to have her friends point this out to her… (Remember when your mom dressed you like a prostitute?) Why could they at least have picked the red dress that Julia wore…it was not so slutty..
All I can think of Jon Benet Ramsey and how she was tortured…May she RIP

AND people wonder why girls have self-esteem issues with their appearances…”gotta be pretty all the time or no one will like you”

  • OWSR

I remember watching an episode of this show a while back where a mother of one of the girls just wanted to give her daughter the chance to try something new, you know to build confidence and stuff. She was determined that they would stick to what was acceptable and not go over a line. The rules of the competition forced her to have her daughter spray tanned even when she disproved of the practice so her child could have any chance in the competition. Apparently natural skin tone is looked down on by the judges, actually anything natural is looked down on by them. I think the judges of these competition need to have a long look at themselves and stop insisting that things like a child natural teeth and hair are a bad thing. You are judging the cuteness level of five y/o girls, you are not judging Miss fucking America, no matter how much you want to imagine you are.
