Sarah Palin’s Husband Todd Seriously Injured In Snowmobile Crash
Todd Palin, the husband of Sarah Palin, was seriously injured in a snowmobile accident in Alaska on Sunday night. As a result, the former vice presidential candidate has canceled her planned Donald Trump rally in Florida on Monday.
Details surrounding Todd Palin’s condition aren’t known at this point, but the accident was reportedly “very serious,” and he’s currently in intensive care. Earlier on Monday morning, a statement posted on Trump’s official campaign website announced the cancelation of Palin’s event for the GOP frontrunner. The message read, “Governor Palin wishes her best to Mr. Trump in the upcoming primaries,” but there was no further explanation or reason as to why the rally was canceled.
Later, however, the Trump campaign released a statement saying, “Todd Palin was in a bad snow machine accident last night and is currently hospitalized. Governor Palin is returning to Alaska to be with her husband and looks forward to being back on the campaign trail soon. Mr. Trump’s thoughts and prayers are with the Palin family at this time.”
Just this past weekend, Trump called off a separate rally in Miami on Monday, the day before Florida’s primary, to instead hold a campaign event in Ohio. Gossip Cop will update as we gather more information about the situation and Todd Palin’s condition.
