T.K. Hash Cracks Up American Idol Judges With President Obama Impersonation
T.K. Hash cracked up the “American Idol” judges on Thursday’s show with a spot-on impersonation of President Obama.
New judge Harry Connick Jr. was the first to point out the resemblance the contestant shared with the Commander-in-Chief. Hash then revealed he had Obama’s voice and mannerisms down pat, too. After doing an impression, Connick told the aspirin singer “Idol,” “That’s so great. You’ve won me over already.”
But could Hash sing? Oh, yes he could! The Charlotte native performed “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark” by Fall Out Boy.
It actually wasn’t Hash’s first time winning a golden ticket. He previously auditioned successfully during season 8, wowing with “Imagine,” the John Lennon classic. Hash was ultimately cut, however, during Hollywood Week, never making it to the live shows.
Will Hash have better luck this time around? Audiences do love a redemption story! Hash’s audition was spotlighted on the second episode of the new “Idol” season. With the show now in its 13th year, fans easily get attached to early favorites, while also knowing that the best still could be yet to come with several weeks of auditions still to be shown.
Of course, should the music thing not work, Hash does have an alternative. After all, who wouldn’t want to hire a hilarious Obama impersonator?!
