MTV host T.J. Lavin is in a medically induced coma after crashing during a BMX event in Las Vegas on Thursday night.

Lavin, who hosts “The Challenge,” was competing in a Dew Tour date when he lost control of his bike and hit the ground hard.

He is in “critical condition” according to a spokesperson for University Medical Center in Las Vegas.
