WATCH: Time Magazine ‘Person of the Year’ Finalists Announced

VIDEOThis morning on “The Today Show,” Matt Lauer welcomed Time managing editor Rick Stengel to discuss the six finalists for the magazine’s annual “Person of the Year” cover.
“It’s the person or thing that has most influenced the culture and the news in the past year, both good or for ill,” explains Stengel.
As always, it’s an eclectic mix.
Here is the short list:
Chilean miners
Steve Jobs
Julian Assange
Hamid Karzai
Mark Zuckerberg
Tea Party
The “Person” will be announced on Wednesday.
