Busting bad dish!

Tiger Woods Eats Dinner; HollywoodLife Melts Down

(HollywoodLife.com)

Tiger Woods has made many, many, many mistakes.

He deserves scrutiny and scorn for bringing scandal into his family.

But is HollywoodLife.com kidding with its latest twitchy (and bizarre) finger pointing?

The golfer’s wife Elin Nordegren reportedly took their two children to Sweden on vacation. Later, Woods went out with a group of people to dinner at an Orlando restaurant.

And HollywoodLife freaked out.

“Wow! Did Tiger actually push the plane out of the hangar with Elin and the kids on it, before they took off for Sweden,” snipes the site. “He might as well have!”

Wait, what is HollywoodLife talking about?

“Just hours after [Elin and the kids] took off, Tiger was back to his old habits,” continues the piece.

Wait, what bad habits? Eating dinner?

Woods ate food with friends, in public. That’s all he did. HollywoodLife even admits that he “wasn’t seen picking up any women or having any members of his team recruit any lovelies for later.”

Ah, but HollywoodLife suspects that eating a meal means teetering on the slippery slope to orgies.

“You know what? One old habit can lead to another!” declares the site. “He’s putting himself into temptations (sic), and no doubt with same (sic) group of guys he used to dog with.”

There is “no doubt” Woods dined with the same group of guys? That’s an awfully strong statement for a report that has no specific details whatsoever about the dinner or who was there.

“I doubt Tiger’s sex addiction counselor would approve of him getting back in the party groove,” scolds HollywoodLife.

Gossip Cop suspects sex addiction counselors might dispute HollywoodLife’s “no food allowed” treatment.

Maybe what makes more sense would be to attack Woods for the things that actually warrant attack, instead of blurring the lines to the point where none of it carries weight.

For full disclosure – and what HollywoodLife didn’t know – is that Woods was reportedly spotted backstage at the Nickelback concert in Orlando, but even there his behavior was described as mellow.

Again, Gossip Cop doesn’t condone his past behavior. But we’ll allow him to have a meal in public every now and then – and we won’t call it “partying.”

Glad you’ve got your eye on HollywoodLife, Gossip Cop. That website obviously has a vendetta against Woods, and they’re not going to let insignificant little things like ‘the truth’ or ‘unbiased reporting of the facts’ get in the way.
