T.I.’s Stepdaughter Arrested For Gun At Airport
T.I.’s stepdaughter, Zonnique Pullins, was arrested for having a gun at an Atlanta airport on Thursday. Pullins’ mom is T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.
Pullins, 20, was taken into custody after the weapon was discovered while she was going through security at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The gun was identified through the X-ray machine, and upon inspection, it was revealed to be a 380 Ruger semi-automatic pistol with a clip and five rounds. When she could not produce a weapons permit, Pullins was transported to Clayton County Jail, where she was booked for having a weapon in an unauthorized area.
She was released on bail just after 2 a.m. on Friday. It’s unclear to where Pullins was headed, or to whom the gun was licensed. According to federal law, one must be 21 years old to purchase a handgun, but in the state of Georgia, a person can possess a gun at age 18.
T.I. has not publicly commented on his stepdaughter’s arrest. The news, however, comes less than a month after one of the rapper’s concerts was marred by gunfire. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, the shooting went down at New York’s Irving Plaza before T.I. took the stage. One man was killed, and performer Troy Ave, who was injured in the incident, has since been charged with attempted murder.
