Throwing cold water on Perez piece about Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian

We knew Perez Hilton’s story about Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian was a bit off right from its headline, which doesn’t even make sense: “Kourtney And Khloe Refuse Take Miami AND Cash From Children!!

Huh?

The Kardashian sisters have been in Miami, filming the second season of “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” at their Dash boutique. While prepping for the shoot, an 11-year-old came into the store and bought one of the Kardashians’ signature bottles of water that come complete with a photo of them on it, and a $10 price tag.

According to Perez, though the boy’s mom “brought him back inside and politely asked if they could return the UNOPENED bottle and get a refund. Apparently this request was REFUSED with EXTREME bitchiness and some serious ‘tude.”

That’s not exactly what happened.

Gossip Cop investigated, and what really went down was the boy came in with his two older sisters, and paid for the water with a crisp $100 bill.

And like practically every other place in the world these days, you can’t return a bottle of water for safety reasons.

But as opposed to Perez’s contention that the woman “politely asked.” Not true at all.

Gossip Cop has learned the boy’s mom went in to the store and, according to an eyewitness, “was screaming and incredibly rude and threatening to call the police.” We’re told she “was so out of hand… to the point where another customer told her to calm down and actually bought the water from her just to shut her up.”

Sidenote: The mother of the boy, who was carrying the $100 bill, was the first patron ever to complain about the unique bottle of water since it was introduced two years ago. After her tirade, we’re told the mom then sped off with her kids in a brand new mega-expensive Maserati.

I am wondering about their water. Is it taste like Fiji, Ice Mountain, Hinckley, Evian, Aquafina, or what. Fiji’s quite pricey, but for $10 that water’s gotta have something seriously enticing going on. Wish I could get one in my city.

The Kardashians charge $10 dollars for water with their pic on them? And you wonder why I why I don’t like them and call them out. What a bunch of greedy witches.

  • GossipGirl says:

There’s no question $10 is a lot for water, but it’s like selling a souvenir. And it’s kind of hard to take seriously anything you say, Dawn Marie, since it’s been pointed out so many times that you probably work for Perez since you defend him every time he makes stupid mistakes, and just log on to attack Gossip Cop, which is also stupid because it’s the best, most reliable site.

Oh what did I miss here? Oh Dawn Marie. Yep GossipGirl, Dawn Marie is either Perez or a Perez employee with (hopefully) better hair. She logs on to the site to criticize GC for reporting the truth. It’s totally pathetic. Seriously, we’ve all said it before. You are so transparently jealous of GC. Focus on the positive instead. And hey, if the Kardashians have marketed themselves to be able to sell $10 water, good for them. No one is forcing people to buy it.

  • I think nothing is working with making money. If their fans want to pay $10 for a bottle of water its okay there is nothing illegal going on their. I like that the ladies are business minded, they have to take care of themselves. Go Kardashians I am a fan. Really when you find yourself criticizing others you make others wonder what’s going on in your life if you have the time to worry about someone selling a bottle of water for $10.

Wow, does a bell go off every time Perez’s name is mentioned? It sure looks that way–when it does, Dawn Marie trots right in defending him. How, er, sweet………and very, very annoying. No wonder people are calling her on it–she’s becoming extremely predictable.

Well, here’s another one for Gossip Cop to get on. It seems that folks including Ted C. have been doing some “embellishing” of their stories. It’s ok Dawn Marie. This time it doesn’t involve Perez.

I’ve never heard of any store in the world that allows someone to return food or drink, whether or not it’s been opened. It’s ridiculous to expect them to allow that.

  • stellababy says:

Wait… of course it makes sense not to take back the water. But why can’t you give the little kid his $ back? It’s called customer service.
