“The Voice” Results: Top 9 Revealed After Instant Save And Elimination
“The Voice” had another Instant Save and elimination on Tuesday, revealing the Top 9 for season 10. Get the results below!
As Gossip Cop reported, the Top 10 all competed live on Monday, following a special group performance in honor of Military Appreciation Month and the First Lady’s Joining Forces initiative. For the individual performances, Alisan Porter was once again among the standouts. In fact, she scored the iTunes bonus multiplier, along with Laith Al-Saadi and Adam Wakefield.
It was no surprise, then, when host Carson Daly announced they were all safe and into the Top 9. But after announcing which other contestants were also safe, Nick Hagelin (Team Christina) and, for the second time in a row, Daniel Passino (Team Pharrell) were revealed to be this week’s Bottom Two. They had received the least amount of votes for Monday’s performances, and now would have one last chance to stay in the competition.
Fighting for the Instant Save, Hagelin sang “Thinking Out Loud,” after which Passino went with “Uptown Funk.” And after all the Twitter votes were tallied, Hagelin WON! Unfortunately, that meant Passino was eliminated.
The new team standings have Blake Shelton’s group still unchanged with Wakefield, Mary Sarah, and Paxton Ingram remaining on the path to victory. Adam Levine keeps Shalyah Fearing and Al-Saadi in the competition for another week. And thanks to the last minute save, Christina Aguilera’s team stays in tact with all three of her artists: Hagelin, Porter, and Bryan Bautista. But now Pharrell has a team of just one: Hannah Huston.
