“The Voice” Results: Who Was Eliminated Before Finale?
“The Voice” had the biggest elimination of the season on Tuesday, revealing the four finalists and sending another four home.
As Gossip Cop reported, the Top 8 all competed in the season 10 semi-finals on Tuesday. But while everyone shined to some degree, half would now have to be eliminated. The surviving four are to go on to next week’s finale.
The results were once again based on votes cast for last night’s performances, but six of the eight had their totals multiplied after landing in the top 10 on the iTunes singles chart. For having the most votes overall, Adam Wakefield, Alisan Porter, and Hannah Huston were automatically welcomed into the Top 4. But because they had the lowest amount of votes, Paxton Ingram and Shalyah Fearing were eliminated.
That left the middle of the pack — Mary Sarah, Bryan Bautista, and Laith Al-Saadi — to compete for the Instant Save in hopes of scoring the last spot in the finale. They each had a chance to give a redemption performance, after which the Twitter voting period opened up. And in the end, Al-Saadi WON!
Heartbreakingly, Mary Sarah and Bautista were given the boot at the last second. To recap, for next week’s finale, the artists are Adam Wakefield (Team Blake), Alisan Porter (Team Christina), Hannah Huston (Team Pharrell), and Laith Al-Saadi (Team Adam). That means all four coaches will be represented, and each has an equal chance of winning. Gossip Cop will have full coverage!
