“The Voice” Results: Top 9 Revealed After Instant Save And Elimination
“The Voice” revealed the Top 8 after another Instant Save and elimination on Tuesday. Get the full results below!
As Gossip Cop reported, the Top 9 all performed once more on Monday’s show, with Alisan Porter and Hannah Huston again among the standouts. But it was the rockers, Adam Wakefield and Laith Al-Saadi, that viewers liked best, at least according to iTunes. Both ranked in the top 10 on the singles chart, giving their votes the bonus multiplier.
Unsurprisingly, all four were safe and through to the next round thanks to the audience’s votes. And after three other artists were also sent to safety, Paxton Ingram (Team Blake) and, for the second week in a row, Nick Hagelin (Team Christina) were left in the Bottom Two. They each had the chance to sing once more in hopes of winning the lone save.
Ingram sang “How Will I Know” first, while Hagelin went with “Change The World.” And after the Twitter voting window, it was revealed Ingram had WON by less than 100 tweets! And Hagelin, sadly, was therefore eliminated.
The new team standings are as follows: Pharrell still has Huston, his lone artist. Adam Levine continues with his two contestants, Al-Saadi and Shalyah Fearing. Blake Shelton keeps his full team of Wakefield, Mary Sarah, and, thanks to the Instant Save, Ingram. And now Christina Aguilera is down to Porter and Bryan Bautista.
Next week is the semi-finals, with Pink coming on board as a special guest mentor. And by the end of that results show, the competition should be cut in half for the season finale.
