“The Voice” Results: Top 4 Finalists Revealed After Instant Save
“The Voice” had its biggest results show of season 11 on Tuesday, eliminating half of the artists to reveal the Top 4 finalists. Get all the results below!
As Gossip Cop reported, the Top 8 all performed on Monday’s two-hour live show. While everyone performed twice due to some special duets, only the solo performances were eligible to rank on iTunes. And when voting closed midday Tuesday, Billy Gilman and Sundance Head had secured the top two spots.
It was no surprise, then, when host Carson Daly announced they had received enough votes to move on to next week’s big finale. But who else would join them in the finals? It was revealed We McDonald made it through, too, but Aaron Gibson and Brendan Fletcher were eliminated for earning the lowest amount of votes.
That left Ali Caldwell (Team Miley), Josh Gallagher (Team Adam), and Christian Cuevas (Team Alicia) in contention for the last remaining spot. All three had the opportunity to compete for the Instant Save. For their redemption performances, Cuevas sang “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” Caldwell went with “Sledgehammer,” and Gallagher followed by doing “I Drive Your Truck.”
After the Twitter voting period, Daly revealed GALLAGHER WON! Heartbreakingly, and perhaps surprisingly, Cuevas and Caldwell were eliminated. To recap: The Top 4 for next week’s finals are Billy Gilman (Team Adam), Sundance Head (Team Blake), We McDonald (Team Alicia) and Josh Gallagher (Team Adam).
That means Adam Levine has the advantage with two artists, while Miley Cyrus won’t be represented at all. Gossip Cop, of course, will have full coverage. Watch video of the results below!
