“The Voice” Results: Top 10 Revealed After Instant Save And Elimination
“The Voice” is officially down to the Top 10 for season 10! On Tuesday’s live results show, one contestant was instantly saved, while another was eliminated.
As Gossip Cop reported, the Top 11 all performed on Monday, following a tribute to Prince. Frontrunner Alisan Porter once again received a standing ovation from the entire panel, as did Paxton Ingram. But with iTunes currently dominated by Beyonce and Prince, none of the artists managed to place in the top 10 and win the bonus multiplier.
After host Carson Daly revealed who was safe one by one, it was revealed Daniel Passino (Team Pharrell) and Owen Danoff (Team Adam) were the Bottom Two after receiving the lowest amount of votes for last night’s performances. And only one could earn redemption now through the Instant Save. Passino sang “Jealous,” while Danoff, fighting to stay in the competition for the second week in a row, went with “Burning House.”
Following the “save” performances, the Twitter voting window opened up. And Passino WON! Sadly, that meant Danoff was eliminated.
The new team standings left Blake Shelton unaffected, as he still has all three of his artists: Mary Sarah, Ingram and Adam Wakefield. Christina Aguilera’s team remains complete, too, with Nick Hagelin, Porter and Bryan Bautista. Thanks to the Instant Save win, Pharrell continues on with his two contestants: Passino and Hannah Huston. And now Levine is left with just Laith Al-Saadi and Shalyah Fearing.
