“The Voice” Results: Top 12 For Season 10 Revealed!
“The Voice” revealed the Top 12 during the first results show of season 10 on Wednesday.
As Gossip Cop has reported, the Blind Auditions, Battles and Knockouts all led to the Live Playoffs on Monday and Tuesday. Twenty artists across all four teams performed, along with four “comeback” artists chosen as wildcards by the coaches. Now the number of contestants, 24 in all, had to be cut in half, based on both viewer votes for this week’s performances and coaches’ preferences.
Team Pharrell went first, with host Carson Daly revealing Hannah Huston and Daniel Passino had scored the most votes of the group and were automatically safe and into the Top 12. But with four left on his team, Pharrell could only choose to save one. And he picked Emily Keener, therefore eliminating Moushumi, Caity Peters, and Lacy Mandigo.
Team Blake was next, and it was announced Adam Wakefield and Mary Sarah were moving on to the next round thanks to the audience’s votes. Blake Shelton ultimately chose to keep Paxton Ingram, too. Unfortunately, that meant Joe Maye, Katie Basden, Justin Whisnant and were all eliminated.
For Team Christina, Alisan Porter and Nick Hagelin were the top vote-getters. Bryan Bautista was then saved by Christina Aguilera. Given the boot were Ryan Quinn, Tamar Davis, and Kata Hay.
Lastly, Shalyah Fearing and Laith Al-Saadi from Team Adam advanced based on the vote tally. Owen Danoff was picked by Adam Levine for redemption. And so Brian Nhira, Caroline Burns, and Nate Butler were all sent home.
Now with each of the four teams down to three artists, the Top 12 will all compete live next Monday. Stick with Gossip Cop for continued coverage!
