“The View” Celebrates National Ugly Sweater Day On Christmas Show (VIDEO)
“The View” co-hosts celebrated both National Ugly Sweater Day and Christmas on Friday by wearing ugly Christmas sweaters. Watch below!
On The “A Very Merry ‘View'” episode, all the panelists were dressed in festive attire. Whoopi Goldberg even wore a red nose in a nod to Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. “Just in time for the holidays, ’cause as it turns out, today is National Ugly Sweater Day,” she announced, noting, “And we are truly dressed for the occasion.”
Sara Haines, whose sweater seemed to be strawberry-inspired, insisted hers wasn’t ugly at all. She even argued that such sweaters have gotten “super hot” in recent years. And Joy Behar probably had the best one of all.
The comedienne’s shirt featured the phrase, “Feel The Joy,” with a mitten design that made it look like the hands were actually grabbing her boobs. Goldberg even stood up and went behind Behar so it would appear as if the moderator was getting grabby. “They’re really, really close,” joked Haines.
Jedediah Bila, meanwhile, didn’t seem to meet the challenge, as her outfit was more of an elf costume than an ugly sweater. This was actually the second day in a row the panel all wore creative tops. On Thursday’s show, the shirts were inspired by NBA teams in honor of the upcoming Christmas Day games. Check out both videos below!
