“The View” Slams Kellyanne Conway For Making Up “Bowling Green Massacre” (VIDEO)
On Friday’s “The View,” the co-hosts slammed Kellyanne Conway for making up the “Bowling Green Massacre.” Watch below.
As Gossip Cop reported, Conway cited the Bowling Green Massacre as a reason for President Trump’s immigration and refugee ban. But no such massacre ever took place.
“To be clear, this is another alt-fact,” Whoopi Goldberg declared. “The Bowling Green Massacre was never reported on because it never happened.” Joy Behar, referring to the “Hardball” interview in which Conway made the remark, argued, “Chris Matthews should’ve corrected her… Because he didn’t do it in the moment, it becomes alternative facts.”
Paula Faris agreed saying, “Things get perpetuated so quickly and it becomes just an echo chamber… There’s been so many storylines, and I would love to just get back to the facts.” That prompted Goldberg to shoot back, “Not with this administration.”
Jason Biggs, who was guest co-hosting, chimed in to note, “I will say this: It was a gem for comedy sake, because Twitter this morning was absolutely hilarious.” The comedic actor was even wearing a “Bowling Green Massacre remembrance ribbon.” Behar then added of Trump’s administration, “They need to have a fake history month.”
Sniped Goldberg, “Every day is a fake history month.” Check out the video below.
