“The View” Debates “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” Deserving Emmys (VIDEO)
“The View” co-hosts debated Kanye West’s recent comments about “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” being robbed of Emmys because the entertainment industry doesn’t respect reality television. Watch the video below!
As Gossip Cop reported, West said in a discussion with “SHOWstudio” as part of its “In Camera” live interview series, “My wife and my family should’ve had plenty of Emmys by now.” On Wednesday’s episode of “The View,” Joy Behar jokingly agreed, saying “[The Kardashians are] the most entertaining family on television and have no talent. I think that that deserves an Emmy. How do you do that?”
Whoopi Goldberg, however, came to the famous family’s defense. “With all of the jokes that come after them, this family has been phenomenally successful and parlayed a sex tape into a dynasty. Now to me, that’s talent.” Goldberg went on to cite the longevity of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” which has currently been on the air for nearly eight years. “This is one of the shows that’s been on a very long time,” said Goldberg, adding, “Name some more [shows] that have been on as long with very little to say.”
As Gossip Cop also previously noted, on Tuesday, the ladies of “The View” discussed the Kardashians and Jenners being dubbed “America’s First Family” on the cover of Cosmopolitan’s November issue.
