On Tuesday’s “The View,” the co-hosts reacted to the continual pressure Donald Trump is facing to release his tax returns. Watch below.

The ABC talk show played a clip of Press Secretary Sean Spicer once again insisting Trump is under audit, in addition to footage of Senator Tom Cotton getting booed at a town hall after giving the same excuse. And when he brought up Hillary Clinton in a negative way, the constituents further heckled him and even chanted in regards to Trump, “Lock him up.”

So, Goldberg asked, “Are people starting to get tired of this line of he’s under audit?” For Sara Haines, the answer was yes. After noting Trump’s failed promises to release his returns, she argued, “I think he thinks because he was the victor, all bets were off.” Joy Behar complained, “They keep bringing Hillary back into it. Just look at Trump’s previous tapes, where all he talked about was how Obama doesn’t have transparency.”

Jedediah Bila agreed. “This is the guy who argued for transparency. How many times did we have to hear about Obama’s birth certificate?” she asked. Sunny Hostin even asked, “Is he really under audit?… If he’s been under audit for 12, 20 years, that doesn’t make sense.” That prompted Behar to crack, “That’s longer than an elephant is in gestation! An elephant can give birth faster than that!”

Bila went on to point out, “This is bipartisan. People on both sides of the aisle are holding him accountable for this.” And Goldberg was confident that the “taxes are going to come out.” She further pointed out that, according to a new poll, “More than half of Americans don’t believe what he says anymore. This is an issue.”

Stressed Bila, “Conservative support has dropped. Independent support has dropped. It’s not just Democrats. It’s not just liberals.” Check out the videos below.
